Join us as we operate two steam engines with Heritage 'E type' carriages on our suburban shuttles, departing Essendon Station on a scenic 1 hour return journey to Flinders Street, featuring Steam Locomotive A2 986 & a K Class (TBC).

These Shuttles will travel on a scenic 1 hour return journey from along the Craigieburn Line, through the northern suburbs and into the city. Travel in our heritage wooden 'Red Rattler' carriages dating back to 1908, featuring compartment seating, opening windows & pressed tin ceilings.
The one way Transfer Trains will travel from Newport Station to Essendon via the scenic route, along the goods lines from Newport to Sunshine and Sunshine to Broadmeadows. Take the little-travelled route rarely used by passenger trains, pass interstate freight trains and cruise over the 55-metre high Maribyrnong River Viaduct.
