From memory tickets are not for sale, they were prizes in a competition. I suppose, like most competition prizes, there might be one on ebay if you were serious enough.

I am SO moving to Victoria Street!!

excatly most likely they would be drunk when by the time the train gets to Melbourne depends if they are well behaved. NSWRTM dont put up with rubbish on their trains, if they get too drunk they would get kicked off the train lets pray to god that no one mucks up and be on their best behaviour.

Restoring the MHN stored currently "Unserviceable" at the RTM would be ideal for this, this a consist of:

GMS1-NAM-NAM-FAM-LAN-NAM-BCS-BCS-BCS-RMS-RMS-LAN-MHN-PHA

Saves the need for towing a HN around for basically no need at all/very little benifit, althrough, it will serve an ideal purpose of being able to have openning windows for those "few" who may be "feeling under the weather" persay to "freshen up", will also helping "decorate" the carriage exterior... Embarassed Razz Twisted Evil

Of note, ARHS ACT has recently restored theirs with the addition of Inter-carriage Communication Doorways & Diaphams being added at each end of the van for enabling on train-staff through access while train in motion, a featrue the MHN's never had when in revenue NSWGR & VR Joint stock Service, but now very much justified....

No doubt their will be a few "flying Missiles" go wayward from the rear deak of the GMS 1 god & heaven forbid also...

I do so hope the RTM has a ready supply of "Kitty Litter" at the ready...

I am Pretty sure that MHN2366 (previously AHO2366) Had the internal communication doors fitted when under the care of the SRA-Railcorp -RSA or whatever its previous use was, I can recall seeing it on the "Green Train" at Albury in the early 1990s and reckon it had the vestibule connections then. if not at both ends - definitely at one end.
