Hi to all,
Just wanted to tell you for those among you who owns the Activity Generator software (the Activity creation software from SkylineComputing.com) that the Northern Illawara 2 template package is ready and should be available for download in a few days at the SkylineComputing templates page.
In the package, there are about 20 different paths, 325 sidings to be serviced with lost of AI traffic including steam, electric and diesel traction. Lots of possibilities there and a treat for everyone. The NSWGR 40 class engines are the main player engines for the template. However, I have recommended in the readme file use of the upcoming release of the NSWGR 44 class engine because of its dynamic braking feature and being more powerful than the 40 class, handling freight better in downhill grades, especially towards Como Northward.
The template package has been conceived in a way to try to bring a balance of realism and enjoyment to this very good route despite MSTS limitations.
Also to remind that the Adelaide route template ( from Allan Lownsbourough) has been available since November of last year at the templates page.
The Activity Generator (AG) software is available at skylinecomputing.com. For those who have AG or those interested in purchasing AG ($15.00 US) you are invited to register to the Skylinecomputing forums or simply go to the web site for details. If you have any concerns or questions about the software or the templates being created, Steve, Norm and some of our template makers will be pleased to assist in any way.
Enjoy
Denis Gionet

Northern Illawarra Version 2.0 and ACTIVITY GENERATOR
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am pleased to anounce that Denis Gionet, from Canada, has created a new Template for NI-V2.0
This template is designed to work exclusively with Skyline Computing's product 'Activity Generator'
Activity Generator is designed to generate a series of 'randomised' goods train activities each time it is run - the 'master templates' define a list of suitable locomotives and rolling stock, and each time it is run, it generates a randomised placement of rolling stock (subject to specified rules and restrictions) distributed over the 'tagged' sidings within the route - the program then goes on to generate a 'switchlist' to allow you to 'work the goods', driving either Northbound or Southbound, and setting out or picking up wagons at various sidings. Activity Generator has a modest cost of US$15, and can be purchased direct from their website:
http://www.skylinecomputing.com/SLG.htm
The Templates to use with AG are FREE and can be found on their website:
http://www.skylinecomputing.com/templates2.htm
DISCLAIMER
-------------------
I would like to announce that I do not have any connection, commercial or otherwise, with Skyline Computing - Denis finds any suitable Routes, and makes a decision to create an AG Template for it. I thank him for his efforts, and his decision to make a template for my Northern Illawarra V2.0 route.

Hi to all,
Just to mention that I have received additional information from Brian about the Illawara route and its operations. I will be working to update the template in order to be more realistic in terms of stock, composition of consists and also some other issues. So, for the time being, I would suggest not to download the present template package until the updated one is released.
Thanks Brian in helping me out to make this template more realistic.
Will update
Denis

Thanks again Brian for helping me bringing a more realistic template to our fellow australian users.
