Hi Hitachi_178M,
1 Create a new folder
2 Move then 01_VR_North_Main file to this folder .
3 UNZIP 01_VR_North_Main_z01 AND 01_VR_North_Main_z02.
4 Move the resulting unziped files 01_VR_North_Main.z01,01_VR_North_Main.z02 to the new folder.
5 unzip 01_VR_North_Main in the new folder.

Regards Geoff

tried that and still the same

The same what? Are you still getting the same Winzip message indicating that:

‘The next part of the archive [01_NR_North_Main.zip] in the location you specified [xxx] does not appear to be different form the last part that was processed. Use it anyway?’

Did you download the three files again direct to the other computer?

Winzip is telling you that the second file it is trying to extract from (namely 01_VR_North_Main.z02) looks like it has the same file contents as 01_NR_North_Main.zip.

Did you follow Geoff’s instructions exactly? I just followed them and the route extracted correctly for me without an error.

These are the three files you should have after you have unzipped the contents of the 01_VR_North_Main_z01.zip and 01_VR_North_Main_z02.zip files into the same folder as 01_VR_North_Main.zip:

25/12/07 11:40 PM 99,000,000 01_VR_North_Main.z01 (96,680kb)
25/12/07 11:41 PM 99,000,000 01_VR_North_Main.z02 (96,680kb)
28/12/07 05:41 PM 88,950,483 01_VR_North_Main.zip (86,866kb)

I have added the file size in brackets as it would display using Windows Explorer.

Are your dates, times and sizes the same as above?

Report back.

Hi Hitachi_178M,
I do not know how to insert a screen shot or a picture into my posts.Help.
The screen shot you showed previously had 3 file folders.
The files files I referred to as the resulting files are contained in the folders 01_VR_North_Main_z01,01_VR_North_Main_z02.
I on my computer have to open the folders twice to display the resulting file. When I right click on the file and choose properties it says the type of file is a "Z01 File (.z01)" or "Z02 File (.z02)".These are the 2 files you must have in the same folder as 01_VR_North_Main zip file. When you unzip 01_VR_North_Main zip should go OK
If I knew how to display pics it would perhaps be clearer.
Regards Geoff

Giday Brad,

Well I’m not sure what the issue is with the VR North East route files you have downloaded. Those file sizes are the same as mine and they extracted without a problem on two computers I tested. My best guess is that either one of the files is being mangled on download or some other program on the pc/s is interferring with the extraction.

I will send you the three files as well as the extracted route on CD. That way if the three extracted files on the CD fail on your pc it indicates that your pc has some issue, but you will still be able to copy and paste the extracted route into your pc. PM me with your postal address.

Before anybody gets a torional bias in their under garments, Russell Beer has already publicly stated that he has no objection to this route being redistributed if end users are experiencing problems.

Hi releismeoz.
