I wanted to skip half of my first year uni orientation day to ride the first V'Locity revenue service from Bendigo. Instead I waited until the end and caught it from Woodend, I'm now in 3rd year I have strangely never even thought of missing a lecture.

I lived in Ivanhoe, a drive to my school in Ringwood took 30 minutes, by train it took a much longer 90 minutes, so the train was purely joyriding.
At school the closest I came to missing anything was in year 12 when I caught the non-psr train from the city to Ringwood and came in later when I had a spare period first thing.

Aahhh, all the talk about spare periods at high schools..........brings back memories of my favourite subject.

But as far as taking a day off work to chase trains, you've got to be kidding...............I drive them Laughing

There was a very good reason for me not to skip school for anything. It was called "Terror". My old man would have kicked my spine straight up through the top of my head.

Cynic - a man who smells flowers and immediately looks for the funeral.
