Hey all

Looking for an engine horn sound file to use as a ringtone/SMS tone on a mobile phone. Best I've found so far is a recording of DL45 - a nice long blast with hardly any engine roar. Got it from a link on here somewhere but I can't find it now.

Does anyone have any particular favourites I might use instead?

Thanks

You could just record the football from Moron Park - they use a recording of The Orient Express as the siren at Moron Park.

That DL45 recording was probably this one from my website. I have many others on my site too - mainly from WA locos and intermodal train locos (NRs, DLs, ANs).

That's it! I do like a nice DL. Mind you EL58 sounds pretty good too. Thanks for the link. Bookmarked now Smile

Try here (Nathans and other goodies, even some marine)

And really, as much as I'd like a loco horn on my car, what I'd really like is some sort of booming fog horn from a ship.
