No. Not that I'm aware. Trainz doesn't support external input devices, except the RailDriver console. (Which imitates a keyboard anyway, so I'm told...)

Programmable joysticks should work. If your joystick is programmable then use the configuration software that comes with the joystick to assign keyboard key presses to joystick buttons.
Note that you will probably be limited to using the buttons on the joystick as the axis controllers will most likely not work unless Trainz has been programmed to accept this type of input.

All Trainz games are backwards compatible, so UTC will allow both UTC and SP3 content, TRS2004 will allow TRS2004/UTC/SP3 content, and TRS2006 will run anything presently available.
