Clue Recap -

The station was once a terminus for passenger trains.

Bluebirds have travelled along this line and the station has not been mentioned in any of the answers provided in the last two quiz questions.

It wasn't the terminus of the line, 99% of goods/freights and the bulk of passenger trains continued to the actual terminus of the line.

It had a very unusual feature (for the SAR).

It was only ever passed by Bluebirds (except for stopping for safeworking) and I don't believe any ever terminated there (although stranger things have happened).

The passenger service that terminated there was generally provided by railcars.

The line that this station was on was/is/never will be standard gauge.

You can travel to this station using an Adelaide Metro ticket.

The many Bluebirds that travelled along this line never had any fare paying passengers (99.9% sure).

And...you could travel to this station on any day using an Adelaide Metro Ticket.

And is not located on any of the lines:
Snowtown to Wallaroo
Naracoorte to Kingston
Adelaide to Morgan
Adelaide to Moonta
Adelaide to Tailem Bend and Mt Gambier
Adelaide to Pirie
Adelaide to Terowie
Adelaide to Gladstone
Adelaide to Victor Harbor
Adelaide to Willunga
Which when tken with the other clues eliminates the Belair line, the Gawler line, the Noarlunga line leaving only the Outer Harbor, Henley Beach lines.
Since to my recall none of these had regular Bluebird services…but if any did it would have to be to Outer Harbor perhaps to collect shipping arrivals.
My knowledge of this line is poor but I take a stab – Woodville?

Not Woodville.

GrahamJ, two corrections to your 'last post' (being ANZAC Day and all Smile ).

Firstly, of the ten lines you mentioned in your list there is one I have never said it wasn't. Re-read the answers on the last page. I think you may have misinterpreted my hints for sarcasm. Hey, I'm not that much of a bastard Cool .

Secondly I have never suggested in any of my clues that there was a regularly scheduled Bluebird service on the line. The Bluebirds were certainly not strangers to this line though and they have been recorded travelling along this line quite a few times. The regularly scheduled passenger service to this station was certainly provided by railcars most (possibly all) of the time. This is what gave this station its unusual (for the SAR) feature...

Revisit the clues at the top of the page, when the answer is revealed you will find it all makes sense Very Happy

Not Clapham
or Mile End Goods

One of these stations are on this line, one is not.

From now on I'll give a hint/clue for every answer.

There has now been two stations on this line that have been mentioned (the other was GrahamJ's guess on the last page).

Since on the previous page I suggested Gawler. Oakbank and Brighton and given your answers since, it seems like it might be the Noarlunga line after Hallett Cove to comply with the railcars only criteria.

Therefore my new guess will be Hallett Cove Beach which was the terminus for a while

[What BlueBirds have to do with this line - don't ask cause I've given up on that line of thought]

And my next guess will be Christie Downs which was also the terminius for a time!

Not Hallet Cove or Christie Downs.

Finally we are around the right line Very Happy

Note - This station was never the terminus of the line, simply the terminus of a passenger service.

Not Marino

When I said you can travel to the station in question using an Adelaide Metro Ticket I never mentioned the mode of transport that you would have to use to get there...
