I admit I am too lazy to look for search engine...but check out:

The Darjeeling Limited

Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins.

Starring :

Adrien Brody(King Kong/The Pianist)
Owen Wilson(unfortunately his recent incident made him fame)
Jason Schwartzman(Hitchiker's gude to galaxy)

Hey?..whatever happen to my warning level?

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Station

No, not something coming up on TV but some old footage from The Avengers:

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=p5_ta1smvXI

The scariest thing is that I remember the first-run screening of this on ABC TV around 1967.

Just saw the show. Only saw that little blue engine in use. Can't find it on their website.

Scrapheap challenge on Friday night showed two teams who had to build road-rail vehicles out of stuff from the scrapyard. One used a motorbike and one used a london cab. The challenge was battled out at the bluebel railway with the motorbike with standardgauge sidecar winning after the taxi lost one of its trailing wheels and derailed.

There are pics of both vehicles on the left hand side in each link[/u]

Anyone watch the NZ program, SCU Serious Crash Unit earlier this week? The victim of a head-on collision was a 'media student' who happened to be recording a train. In various photos of him before the collision there seemed to be trains in the background. More train photos were on the wall behind him when interviewed at home after the crash. Me recognises a gunzel when me sees one. Laughing He's lucky to have survived by the look of it.

Cant remember what station tonight, might have been on foxtel, but there is a Nescafe advertisment with a man holding a coffee bean and operating his layout - "train trader" is on his t shirt - is this the owner/employee at train trader? or did Nescafe pick a name that happens to be a current day train shop!!

For the latest photos of my HO Layout under constuction as well as current models im working on go to: http://www.putfile.com/roberts0001

I wondered about this too. I saw the same ad a few days ago. It was one of the commercial channels (free-to-air).

I know it's short notice, but tonight's edition of Foreign Correspondence at 2130 hours on ABC 1 has a segment on the joy of steam in Poland.

Judging by the trailer, it looks well worth watching.

The Foreign Correspondent program mentioned above was well worth a look.

Here's a link to the ABC's site where you can view the segment as well as other information.

Especially fascinating was the "for the enthusiasts" section at the bottom.
