I have seen some strange strange PID announcements - PRIDE error?
Yesterday (picture below) I was at South Yarra and a Flinders Street service claimed to not be stopping at Richmond
Similar Situation at North Melbourne today, Flinders Street train was not stopping at Southern cross (yet it did).

Is this just a PRIDE error? Are these NON-PR services? Or what is the explanation??
P.S how do you insert pictures? In mean time just click on the link!

"The next station is Royal Park, passengers for the Inner Circle line, please change trains at Royal Park. From Royal Park, this train runs express to Coburg..."

There seems to have been some PRIDE system errors yesterday at least.

The platform PIDs at Frankston at 6.45am showed blank on platform 1 (normally 7.03 Limited Express is shown as soon as the 6.43 has departed, otherwise Listen For Announcements).

Platform 2 showed 7.03 Flinders Street Stopping All Stations Express Cheltenham - Caulfield. The train at platform 2 was actually the 6.52 all stations.

Alternatively it is possible to manually intervene and adjust the displays to take account of special situations if, for example, a station was closed. Thus when Melbourne Central was closed recently in the morning peak the PIDs at Richmond were displaying "Express Parliament - Flagstaff"
