Refresh my memory, who owns that one? Is it DSRM's?

Would it be waiting to have its guts ripped out by Sims?
Cheers

According to http://www.railpage.com.au/f-p776087+8601.htm#776087 of RP Australia

8601 is a DSRM owned loco. It is however close to Sims at Kooragang

Today 8034, 8028, 8014, 8022 and 8006 were shunted out from all of the 85's and 86's in '11 road' and relocated to the neck at the south end of Werris Creek yard. I am assuming these 80's will be sent somewhere else in the near future.

If it's with 42102 and 4521 it's in Blue Circle Cement. Next door, as it were.

Witnessed 8042 absolutely struggling with, I think a load for Mungo-Scott, leaving Enfield South today with more blue smoke coming out of the #3 Traction Motor area than out of the exhaust and CCE breather combined. Shocked
I thought maybe the handbrake was on as it approached but no squeeling.
Maybe KR or someone can shed some light on this sad sounding/looking unit?

4521 has never been stored in the same location on Kooragang Island as 42102.

42102 is as stated stored at Blue Circle Cement.

4521 was when first stored on Kooragang Island in Incetec, stored with it was DSR&M's Comet set but this has since been trucked to Dorrigo.

4521 was moved from this location in 2006 to its present location across the road from Incetec and in an enclosed area owned by AWB near the dead end. 8601 was placed in storage with 4521 late 2007.
4521 had its motor and hood canopy trucked to Dorrigo mid 2007, this was to reduce the overall weight when 4521 is trucked up to Dorrigo (hopefully) later this year.

PLEASE NOTE - THE BELOW STATEMENT IS NOT CONFIRMED AND CAN STILL ONLY BE TAKEN AS A RUMOUR
DSR&M's 85 & 8650 are currently rumoured to be joining 8601 at the same location before the years end as the storage site fees are less than thier current storage location at Werris Creek.

First pictures I have seen of NR1, and they are both excellent pictures.

Nothing better than seeing a pic load and the first thing you see is heaps of catenary hanging down with new and old stanchions littered all over the place (Just my filters, mind you) Mr. Green

Well framed shot, mind you.
