...most of which i have been working back-to-back "tucker box" jobs (24-32hrs away from home). Apologies for leaving this in the lurch. Bad Moderator, go to your room.

However, i have a few days off, so I present to you:

Photo was taken in 2002, which may or may not be a clue. Smile

No to both. But it is in the Central Division.

And we have a winner. I was in Rocky doing driver training in 2002, and decided to take a little drive in the country on one of my days off... Smile

At that point, Koeemba to Baralaba was officially closed (not just "suspended"), and I was impressed at how neat and tidy Baralaba yard was. (I'm assuming that they used "Causes cancer in lab rats" grade herbicide.)

Over to you.

Never been to Baralaba nor Biggenden but shot seem to fit the track layout I thought as well as the style of vegetation-knew it wasn't down on the Downs

ok here is an easy one

A Clue- they are in the longest way round container trip in Qld- probably only about 1/2 distance in straight line for journey from A to B.
Or a lesson in how QR wants to discourage traffic to close a line down

Ayr Yard or Parington. They look that they are the limestone containers that are loaded in Winton come the longway via Rocky and used to return Via Townsville and Hughenden?????/?

Cheers

Yep we have a winner
Gypsum Containers from Winton -loaded on Hughenden Branch main line just outside town-hauled in by tractor and attached to Rockhampton Freight then via north coast line to Ayr-Returns same way
I belive the consigner is only charged as if they went via Hughenden and Townsville
QR would not transport them via that line even when it was open because it might of showed it was being used and would of been harder to close it down
The containers in the photo are being unloaded in the Ayr Container terminal

It should be much easier than my last one.

Cheers
