Aussie Locos & Rollingstock: Whether it be RTR, Kit - if it has been made it can be listed here. This is a information thread, not a discussion thread. Announced locos are not included here, this thread is what is and has been produced.

Got a entry, want to correct an entry ? Post it in this thread, then a Mod/Admin will edit this list, then will delete your post. Thread updated when a mod/admins can do so. Suggestions on content & format always welcome.

Scales gauges are color coded thus: Ho Black Hon2/HOn3 Blue N Green On30 Brown O/7mm or 1/4 inch purple Z Orange
Unless specified, the scale gauge is HO scale

And you can add these options in ()

(K) Kit, (B) Brass, (R) RTR We will not show availability or colour schemes. A Kit can be complete, partial, a body only......

When entering a entry make sure you tell me which category to place it in. EG when submitting an item:

Category ("state"/ national / general )
Type (Steam, Electric, Diesal/Petrol Railcar/railmotor other)
Class
Manufacturer(option), next manufacturer etc.
<scale>

Links to many brands mentioned here: http://www.railpage.com.au/f-t11316315.htm

Remember if your post has gone, I have acted or answered your post..... thanks all for the updates.

A Few things:

1. This is for produced models or currently avaliable. They can be long gone or discontinued, the poitn is they were made.
2. This sectoin is not for models/kits not released yet. There is a thread for that somewhere on the model railway forums.......
2. There is a thread for wanted items - for specific enquiries
3. Providing links to every loco manufacturer is time consuming, and I'll refer to you the links page anyhow
4. Remember this is not a discussion thread. Several post areto be removed soon, or plonked into a new thread.

There were kits available some time back sold under IIRC the FSM brand, they included 53 & 35cl engines, not sure now of other models but there were some, & they were kits.

There were adds for them in the AMRM around the late 70's or so.

Good listing David, thank you.

Thanks for the list Jrcar, but hasn't Phil made a few more steam kits in recent times? Two that come to mind are the AD60 Garrett and C38 - there were a few more coming this year, IIRC NSWGR prototype.
