Reminder to sash to keep eyes peeled for 8150, 8184, 8180 & 48165 as they migrate north & return.

4621 was host to this impressive lash up transfering loco's to Grafton in ready for sleeper transfers to the main north. No idea why the 48 was on the train certainly not needed in either direction, but due to a crew member going sick and no one willing to come out, 4621 was terminated at Boambee and 6422 formed with 8180 leading 48165 and placed in the siding to await the availability of the Morandoo crew to work back to Newcastle. We returned to Grafton light engine with 8150 and 8184 and stabled, luckily there was no Casino loading on the train this weekend.

Any leads westie? | 8180 & 8150 were still in Grafton Yard today. 8184 & 48165 would have been on sugar train as 81/48 combos are used regularly. I did hear that train loads of concrete sleepers are to start running to Werris Crk soon from here. There are a number of consists with this in mind in the yard ready to go. I believe it will be an early start 1am.
Cheers Ron
