You lot wouldn't recognise a p1ss-take if you tripped over one.

What or what was the peropus of the sidings at Milsons Point next to Luna Park ?

Was It a passenger terminal before the harbour bridge was built ?

Hi Nathan, good to see a Victorian asking some questions about Sydney.
These photographs may give you some perspective...

Milsons Point Station. (Lavender Bay) Undated, but obviously prior to construction
of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Milsons Point Station (Lavender Bay) 1924 during construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Offtake of the Railway for the Sydney Harbour Bridge at Bay Rd Station 1924
Bay Rd Station would become Waverton on the opening of the new section.

Waverton taken from the Suburban Goods Line Tour train (Feb 2004) showing the tour train
in the Waverton shunting neck and about to head down to the Lavender Bay sidings.
(Taken from virtually the same spot as the 1924 photo above!)

Certainly suffering from an irony deficiency.

That photo of Bay Road Junction 1925 is possibly just after the pointwork had been installed, as (a) there are guys working on the equipment on both sides of the junction, and (b) Dr JJC Bradfield is present (the left-hand of the two guys in the middle distance), recognisable by the 3-piece grey suit, hat, and short portly stature. He is in just about every photo taken of SHB work.

Sorry, NSWRTM123, you will need to buy the CD set. Unfortunately this is not an online resource.
