Ok time for a clarification - First clue Are you refering to the NG line Marree to Alice Springs or some other NG line?

I think that not only is it too hard, it is not really NT related, IMHO.

Shacks it is kind of related as it part of the Old Ghan track. But this section kind of not related as its is related to SA part of the Old Ghan line. I mainly made this quiz mainly to do with the Old Ghan Narrow Gauge line from Pt Augusta To Alice Springs, The Old Darwin Narrow Gauge Line down to Pine Creek (I think?) As well as today Tarcoola to Darwin Standed gauge line.

Any Way Back to the Question.

I think dawesybj was refering to the current Pitchi Ritchi operations.
The NG line from Port Augusta to Quorn was part of the original Alice line.

Tony

For clarity's sake, W934 never worked the Port Augusta -Alice Springs line, it only worked a former section of that line, at a time when that section was no longer part of the Port Augusta -Alice Springs line.
