Noticed at Islington in the rake of MP9 before it left earlier today this. Anyone know the story behind this one? It's coded COMY and 31001-W. Dunno how it managed to slip past the eyes of us.

It looks to me like a CQMY which should be numbered in the 3001 series.

Built by Bluebird in the last three years.

One built by Bradken at Braemar (3001?) originally numbered 1.

Could it be (or have been) CQMY 3100 or 3101?

The three axle bogies look new or different, but don't make it an open wagon justifying O as a second letter. There were similar bogies under large ex AN oil tankers which have been stored for some time, (so might have been removed for re-use) and would allow double stacking of heavier containers.

I guess adding an intermediate zero to the number might help identify a modified wagon

The bogie centres might be the same (and would be hard to change).

M636C, Your right about it being a CQMY wagon (a quick zoom in shows a hard to read Q) but it's a doesn't appear to be a Articulated.. Or i have mis read your post. Because the other bogie clearly is a triple axle bogie. But again i am not really don't have the knowledge to prove you wrong on this one. So if i am wrong on anything here I accept any corrections made to this post.

Yes, but 409 should have removed the original photo showing normal bogies before posting faked photos with triples.........

And rerail the right hand axle of the 'B' end bogie as well!

Mate, if that loco pulls as hard as you do, it'd move anything.
I'd still rather have an ALCo.
