Does anyone know if the KIT version of the NGPF includes the L7 PTC/Staterail decals in the kit or do they have to be purchased separately. I have tried email and phone for the queries but have not had any luck as yet. I was due to go to the exhibition at Caulfield last weekend, but after having an operation in hospital the day before I was unable to get there. Thanks in advance for any answers to this question.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a response from Auscision models, I have emailed and called , still nothing, It is related to my first question on this page about the NGPF undecorrated models and do they actually come with the L7 decals?

I doubt they come with the decals mate as when i bought my un painted coal hoppers they came without. Also the un painted RQIWs also are sold without decals. Also Pete is very busy at the moment mate has his hands full with allot of work outside the hobby also. Im sure he will be trying as hard as he can to get back to customers questions.

Hope this helps you out a bit mate.

Cheers, Michael

Usually within 24 hours I have got a response from Auscision. Are you using a Hotmail account as there spam filter maybe removing it.

As for the kit version are they doing one, all I can see is Painted and Unpainted models, if you are talking about the unpainted version then no they will most likely not include decals.

If you could provide some good quality photos for Bill at Billboard, I'm sure he'd be happy to do them for you if they are not already done.

Thanks for the info guys, I was talking about the unpainted versions, and if they come without decals so be it. I will have to order some post haste. Thanks again Bigwato.

You never know if Auscision may or may not release them with decals, however the chances are that it is unlikely, since the NQIWs/RQIWs didn't come with them. If you email Peter Wilks, he'll probably know where you can get the decals from. Alternatively, as Bills Billboards, as he can be of great help.

Generally:
Kits come with decals,
Undecorated doesn't.

In an unusual move (the repurcussions of which will surely tip Earth off its Axis and plunge it into Sol), I have actually paid off my NGPF order before it ships! Incredible! Laughing

If that's the case, then bugger. I wonder what happened, given only a couple of weeks ago the were supposed to land a week ago (so I had assumed they were already on the water) - did the ship take a wrong turn? Razz

Perhaps they are being held to ensure the other products from the same manufactuer can be included in the shipment?
There is a rumour that another importer will have product at Hurstville and that the model has been produced with the assistance of Auscision. The same rumour also speculated that the product is a deliberate duplicate of a Trainorama announced model. Perhaps Graeme Baker and On Track Models Pty Ltd can elaborate further for us all on why these products are being duplicated?

Whatever happened to Auscision releasing wagon kits?

I've purchased 4 of the NHFF hoppers and they are a great kit to put together.

It would be great to see the NQIW/RQIW, VHGF, NGPF and anything else they produce in the future released as a kit, dare I say it even the EL's! I think that would be great, perhaps with a prepainted shell.

Has there been any official word from auscision as to why they have stopped with the kits? I can't see anything in there previous newsletters.

Cheers,

Harley
