I know from an old WTT that I have that it is a No. 9 grade, but at this stage, no idea what No. 9 means.

OK, well since no one had the idea of looking at the ARTC website, I'll leave this one open.

Sorry for the LOOONNNGGGG delay. Been busy on the home front.

GC2 has it!

Given all anyone had to do was look at the ARTC charts (which are all there online), it surprised me as to the silence.

Thanks, Alco_Haulic. After your gentle hint, I checked the website and found what you were referring to.

Next Question: Possibly a little like some of lustychants. May have more than one answer, but I am referring specifically to one that I am aware of.

What class of Loco was built at Islington Workshops, but never ran on South Australian Railways as far as I know?

Sorry, I posted this question late last night when I was tired and in a hurry and I got it slightly wrong.

It should have said:
What class of Loco, built at Islington Workshops, never ran "NEW" on SAR rails?
