Not quite NSW rail, but as a NSW forummer, thougt I'd show off and share some of the snaps from my trip last week

The ol' pass yard of APT... (KRPT to those of us, that are the old school) looks quite bare...
Those Overland cars in the background, if their sitting cars could be refurb'd & used on the current service as extra cars (or god & heaven forbid, if GSR got/decides to ever get serious about The Overland Service) a second consist to allow a daily service in each direction, a vast improvement in their token-guesture 3-days-a-week service in each direction on alternative days as currently...

GSR would never do it because there isn't any rich overseas tourists, only cheap Australians who are subsidised by the Victorian and South Australian governments (as well as the Federal Government for concessions)

($1.5 million a year from Victoria in fact - source)

I see that after the renovations, Keswick (Uh, Adelaide Parklands Terminal) still looks like a dump.
