Hey guys,
Just wondering what's going on at Gawler station and near Salisbury. Are they just resleepering? I've noticed they've pulled up a section of track near platform 1, but haven't taken away the rails.
Cheers

If they checked on here more often Fabricator they could fix a lot more too! It would save them having to hoof it to inspect it!

Tell it to TA, most inspections would be done in daylight to see what you are looking at, I have not seen a track walker in years along any TA track and probably current OH&S would prohibit it anyway now on busy tracks.
The little subsidence that occurred on the tracks leading in to the NRM a while back would have gone unnoticed, if our Safety manager had not reported it to them. The track subsided enough to be very dangerous, by the way this was on TA track and had nothing to do with the NRM at all other than blocking access to the NRM by rail! The first news they would have got was probably from the railcar driver that had to take a train in there a couple of nights later. It is fixed now!

back a few months ago there were track workers walking along the belair line. Marking sleepers at every 10 intervals and highlighting trackside objects with yellow paint. They had gone a fair way as i saw them first at eden hills then again at mitcham and millswood

I see track walkers through Parafield Gardens every few weeks or so, mainly early in the morning. Since the new timetable came in during April, they have been thinner on the ground though.

The NSW Opposition had apoplexy when they found the odd concrete sleeper without Pandrol clips. Each sleeper normally has four clips. But these sleepers seem to have no spikes or rail anchors at all. Are the rails glued in place by hidden superglue?

If one showed TA that photo, they'd probably ask to see the permit you had to photograph it!
