Hi everyone,
To help myself avoid uni work, this morning I made a brief line guide of the Moss Vale to Unanderra line. Please help to fill in any missing information or correct any mistakes.
Moss Vale to Unanderra Railway Line - opened 20 August 1932.
Road crossings:
Suttor Road, Moss Vale - level crossing.
Argyle Street (MR260), Moss Vale - overbridge. Constructed when line was opened?
Church Road - former level crossing. Closed when?
Iona Park Road - level crossing.
Sheepwash Road (MR261), Calwalla - level crossing.
Illawarra Highway (SH25), Robertson - level crossing. Flashing lights installed when?
Meryla Street, Robertson (formerly MR263) - level crossing.
Fountaindale Rd, Robertson - level crossing.
Illawarra Highway (SH25), Robertson - level crossing replaced by overbridge in 1999? Current road bridge was built in 1999 but I am not sure whether there was a level crossing or an old bridge that was replaced. Can anyone confirm?
Illawarra Highway (SH25), Ocean View - overbridge built as part of line construction, Replaced in 1995.
Illawarra Highway (SH25), Mount Murray - overbridge built as part of line construction, replaced in 1997.
Tourist Road, Mount Murray - overbridge built as part of line construction?
Mount Murray Road, Mount Murray - level crossing.
Princes Highway (SH1), Unanderra - level crossing replaced by overbridge when?
Deviations:
Wingecarribee Reservoir - 1.5km section realigned to higher ground as part of Wingecarribee Reservoir construction, 197x?
Dombarton - 1.2km section deviated including using part of former loop as main line - 198x?
Amplifications:
Line duplicated Unanderra to Dombarton - 198x?
Stations

Calwalla - opened 1932, closed 1976.
Burrawang - opened 1932, closed 1975.
Robertson - opened 1932.
Ranelagh House - opened 1932.
Mount Murray - opened 1932, closed unknown.
Summit Tank - opened 1932.
Further Information
Are the fire trails that lead from Mount Murray along the railway line publicly accessible?
People who talk out their asre usually have bad breath.

There's a couple of level crossings just west of Robertson that are missing there - not sure of road names, but all between Calwalla and the first Illawarra Highway crossing.
Also, the Mount Murray level crossing is now closed, with fences across both sides.
The bridge in the pic looks like the one that collapsed 5 or 10 years back, claiming the lives of the trew in the freight train that subsequently ploughed into it. I could be wrong on that though, there's a few similar-looking bridges in the area.

Taken here:

Taken from Illawarra Highway, looking NNE at Ocean View locality between Robertson and Mount Murray. Train is heading downhill.
Telephoto lens makes the S-curve look tighter. Road bridge in shot is the old one, now replaced by the "1995" one mentioned in your first post; the abutments are still visible today and I think they are partly covered by the new bridge which crosses the railway at an oblique angle.

The firetrails are in a catchment area and not available to the public. When I was working along the line in the 90s there was a locked gate roughly a Km east of Mt Murray into the catchment area. This trail IIRC! at first follows the line then moves away to the south with access to the line via branches to the north. It comes back to the line a couple of Km east of the No.2 tunnel at a level crossing. (From here there is access along the line to No.1 tunnel and the 'snow shed'). At the east end there were two or three gates which unlocked in the day but locked? at other times. The trail comes out at Kembla Heights.
