Funny that, was motorcading B1 the last week out of Penguin, noticed she had new wheels. No funny business from her though. I spose whatever B2 had done to her bogies was more serious than just new wheels.

Yeah sounds a reasonable idea 2100 seriously needs a clean or a re paint when the new owners take over, its got to a point where its sad.

Well, its a simple process of elimination. At work, if we cant work out why a component is failing we replace it with another one to see if it does the same thing, if not then theres something else at fault.

A rake of QP's at East Tamar awaiting there demise. 2020 is having some wheel attention done. 2123 is in the workshop and appears to be going no where in a hurry - sitting next to welding bay with 2127 in front of it.
Also a lot of HF's in the yard & in the One Spot.

2123 has had a rough trot, was stored in the late 90s, received a rebuilt motor, that motor had enough, got another one. Now stored, pending never to run again?

not stored as far as i know, looks like it has electrical problems and may be a low priority atm and may only get worked on in between other jobs.
There was issues with parts used during the motor rebuild, hence why it failed and got another one again.
