For 2008 I would like to nominate BUCKO

Reason: Because his mates & family do miss him Sad

Post edited by 574M
I can't let this nomination proceed.

Why? Firstly, you appear to be speaking for other people; you may only speak for yourself. If his family want to nominate him, they can. One is a member here.

In the RIP Bucko thread, it was decided by others not to award a memorial Bogie to Bucko. Bucko's father (a member here) posted several narratives of the obsequies for Bucko. He closed those narratives with a touching acknowledgment of Bucko's popularity and the support our members had for him and his family.

The heart is a lonely railfan. It is best to leave matters there.

Not sure if this would count, but i'd like to nominate Electra for his frequent informative posts.

Yes, hurstville1, this is the right place to nominate Electra as he has spent most of this year in and out of hospitals, and won't be back at Railpage Australia™ for another couple of months.

Thank you for your nomination.

I'll nominate PalmerEldritch. He has been posting as recently 12 days ago, but only cut-n-paste news. It's been a few months since he's been involved in discussions.

I have enjoyed reading his postings related to urban planning in the past.

Can I nominate 42101?
He always provided great information and pictures to use fans who dont get to see that side of the railways!

Nominations for this category cannot be accepted if the member is absent due disciplinary causes. However, there are other more appropriate categories to nominate this member for his contributions.

Thanks for the nomination SitWWW, but I'm still around, albeit more as a lurker than an active poster. Razz

Unfortunately I simply don't have as much free time to spend on RP as I used to. Not to mention that I hardly catch trains these days Sad
