Matt G525 is still tottering about on the BG Laughing Hasn't been on the SG in years, and from memory (someone correct me if i'm wrong) G's only started running NSW coal trains early this year.
My guess: G539?
alltrainzfan i think G519 is SCT owned and liveried.

No to G519 is allocated to the coal trains but currently at EDI Cardiff for an overhaul
No to G523
No to G528
& No to G539

& NR77= G511-G515, G521, G532, G533 & G535 are the SCT Units
Also I'll add that G516 & G534 are QRNational

As creator of this thread, could I suggest that from now on each picture is posted with a location and date (if possible)? This could help people make an educated guess instead of just taking a stab in the dark as to what loco number it is…

ok then 8105_candy
the shot I posted is of an identified G Class on a Coal working
passing through Broadmeadow heading towards the Hunter Valley on 20/09/2008.
The G class are numbered G511-G543
It won't be G511-G515, G521, G532, G533 or G535 as they are all with SCT in thier liveries
It won't be G516 or G534 as they are with QRNational in thier livery
It won't be G517 or G518 as they are scrapped
It won't be G524, G525 or G527 as they are on the Broad gauge
It won't be G540 as its in PN Livery
It won't be G537 as its allocated to Ore traffic in SA.
Its not G519, G520, G523, G525, G528, G539 as they have been guessed

So that leaves G522, 526, 529, 531, 536, 538, 541-543 as possiblities
