Okay, I don't want this to seem anal. I love Railpage Australia™ and everything it has to offer. I love the fact that there are new members every day who come seeking or give information. The site needs that community element to function otherwise it wouldn't be here! My problem with squekazoid is that he continues to post drivel and useless information. Yes they're good photos (better than I'd do) but what relevance do they have here? While this might be a board specifcally for locomotive discussions; there doesn't need to be:
OMG!!111NR52-ZZZ-BLINGZ-DA-DIAMONDSOMG!!!ONETY111!! all goddamn friggin day. I thought he would've learnt after his earlier mudraking and the whole problem he made causing the departure of one very prominent and respected board member but let's not go there....
What I want to say is this: squeekazoid's immaturity is not helping this board one iota.

Probably because it's school holidays...

All I have to say is maybe you should give him a break and it seems like the immature one is you with what you, with what you said. He's had his ban lifted cause he could prove that he was going to be more mature and he has so far. So get over yourself. He's back to stay face it you wont win! Now thats all that need to be said or this thread will be locked!

Cheers,

Andrew McGregor

What I said was only a joke as a response to what you said about squeeky. Although I know that it didn't sound like one. I'm sure all of us here like going on RP but like Draffa said I haven't seen any 'nonsense' that you talk of. Besides it's the school holidays, most of us are bored, lighten up a little!
Also, just out of curiosity, who is this 'very prominent and respected board member' that he caused to depart? From what I heard, he got banned for a totally different issue. Of course I am open to correction though.

Righto guys.

Squeek has been unbanned after debate amongst the mods.

Its not up to regular forum members to 'self-moderate' or jump on the backs of previously banned members. This serves no purpose but to inflame the situation.. If you have an issue with a post, report it.

Until then, lay off him. After all, I see little harm in this thread. Certainly, the posts on the previous page were un-warrented.

If you have an issue, PM me.

U Boats never ventured out behind locos. That would be a crew car.

The only time you'll see a U Boat behind a loco, would be a steam loco maybe at the Richmond Valley Museum. These are crew cars - probably converted FAMs or Bluebird Railcars or some other silver set.

AllTrainz I would beg to differ the first train up to the Blue Mountains was a few U-Boat cars hauled by a 46... But in the case of this photo it looks like one of the former Overland cars.
