Yay, extra soupcans for a week or so!
At least there will be an extra 40 seats; though, less standing/sitting on floor room than VLocities provide.
Note to self; catch 0815 up Traralgon to uni on Tuesday for nice empty VLocity ride after Trafalgar Razz

Cheers,
Matt Julian

VL39 was transferred from Bombardier Dandenong to Southern Cross this morning via Sunshine, arriving into Southern Cross Yard around 1040.

Its scheduled for exams, at this stage should enter revenue service on Sunday.

I noticed VL39 at Southern Cross this afternoon. Now it's been painted yellow like the other three cars VLos (and VL15).

I wonder what service it is destined for...

VL39 entered revenue service as a three car VLocity this afternoon, departing from platform 6 at Southern Cross on time behind VL10 on the 1715 down Echuca.

Can't say the same about yesterdays 1715 down Echuca; it left at 1751!

I was surprised to see the Swanhill come through North Bendigo frist, the Echuca service was about 20-40 late on leaving Bendigo.

I was on the Swan Hill train and it was a bit crowded as they had advised the passengers on the Echuca train to rush across to it so that they would get along quicker if they were only going to destinations Bendigo and closer.

I was heading to the DSCR at Daylesford and the bus from Woodend left after the SH arrived. It did not wait for the late running Echuca. The driver said they could get a taxi for the 40-odd km if they wanted. Rolling Eyes

I'd say V/Line would have provided taxis to passengers who missed the connection due to late running; and probably a friendly letter to the bus company too!

VL36 Scheduled to run back to Bombardier on Monday 29/9 , for trailer insertion & Mods, and 3VL38 scheduled to come out.
With 3 x 3VLS in service no planned used for 4th 3VL at this stage, probably awaiting availability of politicians to have "Soiree" [Launch] on other line Ie Ballarat & Geelong.

Are the 3VLs actually heading out off peak? It seems like they only do peak then hide in the carriage yard of an afternoon.
