SUN 5th of October.
I had only just left the depot, heading to the railway station, and not far from the corner with Watson Street and Victoria Street, it started. I got dive bomed as many as 5 or 6 times at least by a magpie, it could have been more.
I was saved by the wide rimmed hat I had on my head, and the pair of safety glasses I had on my eyes.
This is a warning to all who walk to the depot today or any time soon.
*********** FULL STORY OF MY EXPERIENCE ***********
A single Magpie dive bomed me many times.
It stared in Watson Street, not far from the turn from the SRHC depot, and the magpie followed me all the way along Dowling street. I could see passengers waiting on the platform when I noticed the magpie was gone, and my first concern came to those standing on the platform.
As I got closer, I crossed the path of a guy going the other way, warned him of the magpie, and he said how it went at him before.
I said something to the staff in Seymour Railway station, but they did not seem interested enough. They should have gotten onto the phone straight away, and phoned someone from council to come and get the bird straight away.
I had one of my items of luggage ready to strike the bird as it tried another swoop, but it was too quick.

It has nothing what so ever to do with protective mothers.
It has everything to do with Male magpies which are pumped with testosterone, and are doing it as a dare to show off at other males.
At least this is what has been found out from what has been the only proper study ever done on this.

Yes, their names are Didak and Shaw
From years of study I have derived two observations:
1. The sum of human intelligence is a constant.
2. The population is increasing.

1) So Jim, what colour was the neck of the magpie? That'll tell you if it was a male or female
2) Why should the Seymour station staff give a damn? It's a council matter.
3)
