Its either Wodonga City Council or Indigo Shire Council, the boundry between the two is somewhere in the general area. My gut feeling is that its in Indigo but I'm not 100% sure on this.

Yeah it's definitely Indigo there. We are in Ebden which is Wodonga City, the boundary is just down the road.

You can ask Anthea Packer from Parks Victoria - she knows who owns the equipment there. railtrail@parklands-alburywodonga.org.au

Oh - bummer. I thought they knew who owned them.

I stopped in at Huon yesterday - the Hume Weir is over 90% now, lapping just a few metres away from the Huon yard - looks lovely. Great place for a tourist railway!

Sorry to dig this one up again has anything happened to the walkers?

I am guessing probably not. Crying or Very sad Sad

Now that the ARHS has got rid of Rm22 they can take the walker and a trailer. The other trailer can go to YVTR Very Happy

Probably not with the condition this lot are in

Exactly. For a group like ARHS or even YVTR they would not be a sound restoration idea. They are so far beyond restoration, and so far beyond having any useful spare parts that even DSCR would probably not have any use for them.

Was passing through Huon on the weekend and dropped past to see what still remained. Everything is still in rather decrepid condition, though some parts seem to have been removed recently.

Looking back at past pics quite a few items seem to have been removed. Does anyone know about this? Seems like there may be some use yet for whats left. Even looked like 64 MT had been moved recently, sitting on fresh grass over the rail head.

Here's the pics from my visit.

Cheers,

Thunda.

On fresh grass.

Grill was shown in previous pics.

Panel over driver door knocked off, door no longer around.

Something was there before.

Nope, they are gonna go to a good home, although some parts may come off to keep an already running Walker going until restored in their own right.

With a fair bit of work they could start to look like this....

Poor things, thank god the DSCR got 82RM before it was too late.
