IMU 160's serviced the IPS-CAB corridor today notably making 1163 T163.- http://qldmatt.fotopic.net/p54304463.html
SMU260's 261 & 262 ran on the North Coast line this afternoon on 1L05/1980.
EMU 66 (with another EMU) also had a morning run to Nambour. I took a couple of pics at the buttons when it arrived back at Roma St on 1972. They behave just like normal EMU doors still just without the handles. Am I the only one who thinks it weird where they put the internal door open buttons? Confused

It's likely to get leaned on by everyone in peak hour, but that's probably not the end of the world... kinda run out of panel space by the looks of it!

Hey, travelled on EMU 66 today going to Indooroopilly from Oxley. Yeah, the door buttons inside are situated really weirdly. Had to look around for a moment before seeing them to get out!

Waiting at Oxley, 23xx and another roared full pace through Oxley outbound with an empty coalie.

Also, with the construction work around Oxley, does anyone else think the new overhead gantries are the ugliest things ever? Particulary the ones that jutt outwards from their groundings? Like this: \***/

I agree, the buttons are in an akward position, but can't see it being too much of a problem.

From memory there's not much blue paint left on 1769D... Laughing
