hi

does any one have any photos or Know were the 2 foot gauge steam loco at the lachlan valley vintage villiage Forbes went.

CPH, the place was actually called 'Lachlan Vintage Village' (no "Valley" innit).

There's a brief story about the 2-foot gauge loco here:

There was a Garret their at one point in time, before it closed anyway.

Sorry, I was confused, it was a different heritage centre, but it was a Forbes.

Garret = not quite right
Garratt = right

Lachlan Vintage Village = correct (well, the Garratt almost made it to the village ... and it's still there ... marooned).

There were one or two massive threads about this subject. Probably better that one of the old threads be investigated before we go through it all again here.
