Relocation of parking bays

At the request of local businesses in the Sunbury area, some V/Line parking bays will be relocated in late October.

There will be no reduction in the 266 all day car spaces available to V/Line customers.

Approximately 50 parking spaces will be moved from the Brook Street (northern) end of the car park toward the centre of the car park.

V/Line customers need to look for car spaces with yellow markings on the ground to indicate all day parking. The remainder of the car park will be allocated to two hour parking or retail permit parking.

Changes are set out in the map below with parking available to customers highlighted in yellow and orange.

Interesting.....
Of note it would appear that new boom gates are going to be installed on Station Street level crossing in Sunbury with the opening of next door Target.

Sunbury is stuffed as far as parking goes.We only have the hume city council to thank for that. They are more interested in Braody than here in sunbury. We supply more money for broady than what mocco city does for it's self

The two story car park can have another level placed on top of it. It was deisgned to accomodate 3 levels, so that is another what 30 car spaces available or there abouts.

Sunbury was a much happier place as Shire of Bulla. This was in the time of orange trains...

When I lived in Sunbury, Hume had a definite bias toward Broadmeadows . I would not at all be surprised if that was still the case.

Based on what?

Perceptions - of course Broadmeadows receives more spending (although I can't say for sure that it even actually does), it's far larger and more important than Sunbury as a regional centre.

Speak for yourself.

'Common knowledge' - more like unsubstantiated BS from second rate local 'journalists'

I bet it's the same idiot who said there was nowhere to stable trains in Sunbury.

There is no way in hell that thing is designed for a second level.

It is designed to take another level, the plans state this.

Based on me living there for over a decade. Sunbury has gone to the dogs in the past 10 years or so.

Now I have said this to a lot of people from Sunbury. You have a choice in terms of Council, Macedon Ranges Shire, A mob that is always crying poor, and with good reason, or Hume, which are prioritising the more urgent things that are not controlled by the State.

I know what I'd choose...

ZH do you have to come into EVERY thread on topics like this and have a go at people? You seem to think you know everything and you don't.

Based on what? Give examples or it's meaningless.
