Had a ground relay somewhere near km 69 which wouldn't reset, T356 was placed on-line to assist. Crew were able to later reset the fault and loco has performed ok since.

I say again. I counted about twenty people on the train as it left Wycheproof. What a complete flop. The people who organized, marketed and PRICED this trip should be sacked. Half of the ex-Wyche people living in Melb wanted to travel on this train, but were priced out. Wycheproof put on a suberb show, and twenty people turned up on the train. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. OF COURSE THE VOLUNTEERS DID A GOOD JOB.

From the photos that I have seen of this train, it had around 7 passenger cars. How were you able to accurately count the passengers in all of these, standing outside the train as it left Whycheproof's main street?

Because I was there. You dont need too many fingers to count twenty people. I note the planned stop at Charlton for breakfast was cancelled. Because they were expecting 400 passengers, not 20. Can someone please reveal exactly how many passengers left Wycheproof. Lets do our sums. 400 at $100 a ticket. Or 20 at 400$ a ticket, plus flow ons to drought affected town. What a balls up. And you had been warned for months.

per1 shut ya pie hole. Steamrail and the charter group did a great job getting this tour off the ground, all the crud thrown at them from the get go makes it a real achievment to make it to Wycheproof. From what I hear the shuttles were a success. Which is the main thing, the train itself played its roll in the event.
With your pompus attitude your lucky to get any info at all out of anyone, pull your head in and do as spotty suggested.

Was the stop cancelled due to late running? Where are 400 people going to sleep? No doubt you would have that already worked out, if so I think you should been in charge of the planing for the next trip so you can show us all your skills, seeing as you have four hands and can count to twenty. Put up or shut up idiot.
Mate, if that loco pulls as hard as you do, it'd move anything.
I'd still rather have an ALCo.
