Have you ever been to Esperance, Q4004? Every day of the year, three Q class locos work loaded iron ore wagons to the port, then run back light engine to the yard.

Never been to Esperance 8888. Just got confirmation, that the run on Thursday was a test of the new distributive power system being fitted to the Q's.

I would like to go to Esperance and Kalgoorlie before the new locos arrive

Hi all, not so much of a sighting but a bit of info. I have heard the GWA will be getting 2 22's from QR when then take everything from the Manildra contract. Also 3106 will be heading back to perth sometime this week, rostered on 3MA6, 4AP1 at this stage.

Cheers,

Andrew McGregor

Thats sounds more like it! I didn't think it would end up being this week.
