Hello Gents,

I am looking to get a CPH railmotor and was wondering if any members could give me their opinion on the various kits available. I have seen the soon to arrive Eureka ones but unfortunately don't have a spoke 1/2K to spend on one.

Cheers,

Scott

Scott I suggest that you contact Casula Hobbies in Liverpool NSW as they do a CPH Kit and the trailer kit as well.

There are brass ones available, but they're towards the $1000 mark. Lloyds Model Railways, now AR Kits, also have them available, but I think they're sold in pairs. Stephen Johnson models also do them in kits.

The Casula Hobbies kit which includes motor is $198.00 (by itself).

I built the Casula Hobbies CPH many years ago and it is still giving good service.

Thanks for the replies guys, I think the Casula Hobbies one will be my choice. I'm not so interested in the trailing car.

Cheers,

Scott

Hi, it would depend on which CHP you wish to model. Ie Matchboard sides (Casula) or masonite side (Lloyds or SJM- if you can find one)
