Well i cant wait till the 18.10.08 to get this nice train and to add to my collection. [Push, Pull mode]
But as a junior and not knowing a lot about each loco i don't know what they (SRHC) will use?
Well all SRHC T's are on lease. and T333, and T341 cant be used on mainline due to not being checked (By the ARTC), to travel on the main line.....
So what will they use????
Well my first thought was N468 and N460 but it would be a bit boring..
Maybe 2x S classes??
come to think of it i dont really know...
Does anyone else know???

G'day jezzbott,
I'm not entirely sure on the locos being used on the shuttles but I would imagine an N will be used. One other loco may be used but I can't confirm anything just yet.
By the way, were you the one I spoke to at Seymour station with my mate Rodney that day the Traralgon Charter ran?
Gone to the Pub... I'll be home tomorrow night....

I was going to say 'check the SRHC website' but it is not up there yet.
However, from:
http://www.tastesofthegoulburn.org.au/entertainment.html
| Quote: | Heritage Trains
• Heritage train rides and the promotion of Seymour Railway Heritage Centre will increase the public's awareness of this significant part of Australian History and show case our Heritage Rolling Stock (working trains & carriages) to the region.
• Local shuttle rides from Seymour Railway Station fares from $ 6 per person.
• Hourly from Seymour 10am. Last train 4pm
• Departing Avenel 10.21am
• Returning to Avenel from Seymour 4pm
• Departing Nagambie 11.30am
• Returning to Nagambie from Seymour 3pm |

I just forgot to put the link on the front page.... http://www.srhc.org.au/tours.php has them usually before the front page.

Lionel.

Well what ever loco they choose I will hopefully be either track side or riding aboard, probably depending on the weather.

Don't know exactly what ARTC has to do with trains running on the BG but anyway. Chatting to heritage crewing co-ordinator the other day, apparently N class one end and flattop T the other end.

This was discussed in the other thread, yes you have a point but don't you think it's about time that you dropped the issue?
The Tastes of the Goulburn festival is not organised by the SRHC, we do the train shuttles and support the event, that's about it. Besides, V/Line are also sponsors of the event, a little PR will do them good too.
Gone to the Pub... I'll be home tomorrow night....
