I recently obtained some good photographs of the new Velocity DMU sets under construction at Dandenong from a close friend.

These images where not taken by me but I'm allowed to post them on there behalf.

1. This is a shot of a new Velocity DMU middle car or powered trailer. taken from inside the Dandenong train factory. This DMU powered trailer is not yet complete.

2. This is a close up shot of the door and underfloor are of the half built Velocity DMU powered trailer.

I hope these shot are of interest to some people.

Idea Thanks for the pics, but its it's spelt VLocity, and I bet it sure beats anything on rails in Thailand Exclamation

The Vinelander, from Melbourne to Mildura was Victoria's only overnight sleeping car train which was launched 8/8/1972.

Ballan, the best town, on the best railway line, in the best state, of the best country in the World. Currently in Longreach.

While spelling corrections are allowed, keep the tone of conversation civil =)
