I didn't see the greaser, so it makes sense.

The BW car looked next in line today, with 32 D in next. The spark was sitting in a good spot for photos this morning when it was getting stripped but I didn't get one, and by the afternoon it was moved behind the other cars! Mad

32 D the suburban driving trailer (I think it was a Doggie, not a Tait)

32D is (was) a doggie driving trailer. It still has wooden headstocks which would have prevented it operating again. The car was also heavily stripped to provide parts for 24D, 12BT and 137M. I think the bogies from under it were to be kept.

447M was damaged in the fire that destroyed the BE car a couple of years ago. It was in very bad shape. There was very little in that carriage that was salvagable.

My understanding is that 34 vehicles have been allocated to VicTrack and will be moved very soon, including five I and IA wagons.

Hi everyone, Does anybody have a recent update on what is left by way of passenger cars or guards vans that are going to be broken up? I understand some have been saved.

Back on 23 November 30BE was just an underframe and end wall (it had been for a long time) as was 65 AW. The scrapping seems to have stopped for the past few weeks.

Theres still a fair whack of rollingstock in the yard, alot which carry the big white cross of death. It will be interesting to see where it all goes.

Look carefully - there are crosses and crossed out crosses and recrossed crosses. (and very cross crossers who are not at all impressed with having to uncross themselves) - and I wont even go down the path toward cross dressers!!
