The clues are plentiful, but spread everywhere.
Country (so knocks Dandenong), reinforced by the 'no overhead' clue.
Common theme with Warragul, Korong Vale & Castlemaine (two of the three had a Railway Hotel; two of the three were brick; three of the three had an island platform; three of the thee had refreshment rooms).
Three forms of safeworking
Not on the Bendigo, Geelong or Maryborough lines
Cressy is the wrong part of the state knocks Port Fairy and Serviceton lines?).
Two platforms (ie two mounds? one mound with two faces?)
Controlled from one signalbox.
That should be plenty enough to help, but merely blocks all entries: they fail at least one clue.
This is not an entry, just a progress summary to help others.

OT
mmm, it might all depend on the era of this diagram.
Obviously, it's in the past, however, certain locations went thru regenerations (for want of better words) or many as we have discovered.
Maryborough for instance would have had 3 different types of safeworking at the same time(from memory) MES, S&T, Train Orders(SG). or have I been mis-informed? (I'm guessing that it might have also had S&T without the T, at the same time which would have made it 4).
The Wodonga remark was tongue in check, as I really have no idea where this location could have been, hence my guessing as time goes bye....
Good luck to the winner and thanks mortrail for an interesting diagram.

A the time of the diagram a Signaller at Seymour would have only required two Safeworking Systems
CTC and Double Line Block

Hi there
Were the Signalmen required to use the three safeworking systems in the ordinary operation of the scheduled train service?
Or were they qualifield in the third system in case of an emergency?
My latest guesss is Tallarook.
DLB to Broadford
ES to Yea
ATC to Seymour (or whatever it was called)
CTC on the Standard Gauge (Emergency use)
Cheers
Lance
