Tasmanian Photo Thread

I was looking through the photos I've taken in the last three years since I got my first digital camera (some 8,600 photos) and found some that I'd like to share, but that don't really fit in with any other thread.
Anything can go in this thread, whether it be current or from years past, locos, wagons, infrastructure, just as long it is Tasmanian.
I'll start off with some picked at random.

I have some sort of loosely arranged on a photobucket, but I dont really have the time or internet speed to set up a proper website.
EDIT: BTW, this thread is for everyone to participate in, so post up some pictures!

Andy, i have to go though over 10000 photos!.
I'll take one of my backup DVDs here at home into work tomorrow, sort some out and, a mega upload onto photobucket. Got a few doosies!

Ok, these images are way before i got a DSLR, even thinking about one actually!.
Some are also in some typical Tasmanian conditions, wet and cold.
The camera's back then are a 3MP/8X optical and 6MP/10X optical Olympus "point and shoot".

I didn't realise that Tasmania had locos in Tranz Rail livery. How many does it have?

4 locos had them, the lone DC and the three QR locos. Instead of Tranz Rail lettering, they have Tasrail lettering.

Damo, some of the previous pics were taken with the old 3MP Fujifilm digi. Also it might have something to with when I resize them for uploading to the net.

The stripes just never got done after it got repainted. Now that there's so many other jobs on in the workshop it's not a real priority.

Yeah, there's sign writing still to be done on the cab sides and fireman's side long hood doors. It gets a run every now and then, just to keep the cobwebs out.
