Hi all,

I got sick of using Fotopic (and ran out of room and didn't want to pay for more) so have moved all my photos over to my own server:
http://wongm.railgeelong.com/

At the time of posting I have 5798 photos in 168 albums up on it. You can peruse the entire set of albums:
http://wongm.railgeelong.com/gallery/everything

Flick though albums by location or theme:

View photos by when I have uploaded them:
http://wongm.railgeelong.com/gallery/recent

Look at photos by the month or day I took them:
http://wongm.railgeelong.com/gallery/archive

Or just grab a random selection of them:

Now I just need to go through my really old photos and pick out the good ones. Laughing

The latest batch of photos are from Gippsland - quite a change for me.

December 06 was on my way over, with a handful shots at Geelong, Westall, Pakenham, Warragul and Traralgon

December 7 was a visit to the South Gippsland Railway, as well as V/Line along the way there:

December 8 was waiting for the down paper train at 0500 in the Morning, but I missed it or it didn't turn up. Evil or Very Mad The morning was around Drouin and Warragul, then east to Morwell, where I followed the Maryvale paper train on the up until the light faded:

December 9 I waited again for the down paper train, but did see it this time. I then waited around for V/Line trains around Morwell, then worked my way over through Traralgon and Sale to Bairnsdale, to chase the up log train as far as Sale.

December 10 was spent around Sale for the V/Line passes, exploring the Maffra line, then heading back to Bairnsdale to follow the log train again.

December 11 was working back into Melbourne from Sale, and visiting the Haunted Hills between Morwell and Moe:

December 13 was the SRHC trip to Tocumwal:

And now I am taking a few days rest until my next escapades, then back home.

I'm using Zenphoto as the software to run my site, but with my own theme:

You still need a web server to upload your photos to so others can see it, you will have to pay for that. There was some discussion about webhosts on this thread:

Ballast train up at Seymour:

Around the North East line, not much freight but I did get the Apex:

More around the North East but a bit closer to town, chasing the ballast train, and then over to Ballarat:

Ballarat line - no freight there except a ballast train at Deer Park...

Inner bit of the Bendigo line, no freight there at all...
