can someone steer me in the direction or post a link to the free download of xtrackcad.  I can find plenty of downloads but none seem to go anywhere or work.

Also is Marklin M track HO, part of the xtrackcad library  QuestionQuestion

And yes, Marklin HO scale C, K and M track are available on XtrackCAD.

yes it is free, XtrackCAD went open source in 2005.

cheers mate, i have now downloaded it and have it working, but now for the really dum question, really an extra dum question as my job sees me on autocad everyday, 8 hrs a day.  Where in the dam program do you locate the various manufacturers track / library, marklin ec etc

Go to options - layout. Select correct scale.

Next, Go to File - parameter files - browse - (open params folder) - select parameter file (e.g. mrklnhok for Marklin HO K-track), OK.

Parameter files are basically libraries of track. Filenames are fairly obvious....
