Hey all,
Before proceeding, I should mention this question is not regarding the current Light Rail plans. When the ACT was initially designed during the 1920's, Walter Burley Griffin included trams in the blueprints for this vision.
Had the idea been implemented, whereabouts would the lines have served
Thanks,
Ben

Well the grassline between the road lines along northborne avenue from civic to dickson has always been a propsoed site for a lite rail every thesince that road has been there since the beginning of last century or so (I think!). As a matter of fact, any wide grassland seen in Canberra between road lanes has been delierately left there sparse to allow the potential of tramways or lite rail in the near future no matter how long off it may possibly be. Hope this is some hel to you.
