It's the remains of a loco pit.
Not:
Maryborough Loco
Yackandandah
The line is now a Rail Trail.

Another clue:
It's broad gauge, but not in Victoria

Is it Angaston, South Australia?

Robert.

It sure is ![]()
All yours L-1172

Thanks T347. Open floor as I have no time at the present to scan and upload a picture.
Robert.

Where's this little bit of line located?

Yallourn?

Not Yallourn.

Just north of Lilydale, looking towards Coldstream?

An odd remanent of the Warburton line just beyond Lilydale.

It is indeed Lilydale, however Rodo was incorrect; this section is the Healesville line, the Warburton line had already branched off before this point, though only a few hundred metres away.
Over to you Melbournesparks.

Ta. Where is this rather overgrown formation?

WSITD Macleod - Mont Park?

I tend to agree with that one, the bush looks just right for that area but I thought it was all covered in houses these days. I can remember a K class hauling a few wagons on that branch.

It is indeed the Mont Park asylum line, looking towards Mont Park. You can just see an overhead wire pole base to the bottom right. All yours!

Thanks Melbournesparks.

Tumbarumba?

Tumut?

Not Tumba nor Tumut, though I can see the resemblance to the yards at both of those places.

Terowie? ![]()

Lang Lang?

I believe it is my local railway station but I have an unfair advantage, so will not guess it.

Rand?

Sorry for being tardy in responding, everyone - someone has evidently deleted a post, which "unwatches" the thread for all - me included ![]()
Not Terowie, Lang Lang nor Rand.
