This seems to most appropriate place to put this info........

Last night on Foxtel channel 607 (A&E) at 10pm "MegaTruckers" featured two Australian 'mega moves'. One was a piece of mining equipment from Coffs Harbour to Brisbane, the other was the movement of (ex) QR locos 2153 and 2154 from Qld all the way to Devonport (via Burnie).
I cannot find reference to this anywhere else on RP so in case no one else saw it, I am posting on this forum.
It was very interesting and very enlightening, and followed the journey right through to placing the locos back on their bogies at Deveonport. It even showed that they were even fined by the Tasminian traffic authority for some 'breech' (not specified) of some loading rules being broken on the journey from Burnie to Devonport.........which begs the question that if they were in breech why did they not transfer the locos to rail at Burnie and avoid the risk of being fined.
I notice that the Megatruckers program is on again at 3pm today, but it does not specifically state the content.
