Any Information will be much appreciated.
I was just wondering if anyone had any information on the knew timetable set to shake up the whole network. I have read/heard people say that there are new routes including re-routing all Richmond services to Glenfield/ Campbelltown. I am bringing this up because on the Countrylink website they have put out a notice for people booking after October 2013 that the timetable will change. (http://www.countrylink.info/service_status/service_changes)

The Y Links will be Schofields-Glenfield/Campbelltown, or so I have heard.

No end to Richmond-City services.
Also Cumbo only runs roughly 7 - 7 weekdays.
Mboi: Ah as far as I am aware we are discussing the October 2013 timetable, as suggested by the title of the thread. Cumberland Line will run roughly 7 - 7, half hourly. Blacktown - Campbelltown in peaks, extend to Schofields in offpeak.
Also FYI it's 2 in the morning, 3 in the arvo at present.
I also think that all future NSW TrainLink services should terminate Penrith for Blue Mountains, Hornsby for Newcastle, Waterfall/Sutherland for Wollongong/south coast services and Campbelltown for all southern highlands services. I know this will cause some outrage but would allow more Sydney Train services to run on the dedicated Sydney Trains Metro Network without having to delay services for both organisations if there are problems (not 100% fault proof but could limit or reduce delays).
I do believe the epping to Strathfield services should terminate at Strathfield or at least central. This would mean the Western Line trains will run through the ECRL and up to Hornsby/Berowra.

As good as it may be, it is political suicide. Barry won't ever introduce that due to huge outrage commuters would show, as you mentioned.Nooooooooooo. Fancy not being able to get interburbans into Sydney just so the other trains run more smoothly. Build them dedicated tracks rather than kick them out of the city (not going to happen either).

That would definitely be another reason not to vote for Baz O'Faz.

Just look at London underground or in fact the whole of the train system there, you have interchange to go to certain places. Not all trains should go to the city and I agree, its going to probably have to get to the point in which interchanging for certain services is just going to be usual practise
