    doesn anyone know of any models that are melbourne trains?
    hitachi/comeng/x'trapolis/siemens
    i've looked around and saw one thread but looked on the shops website and there we're nothing about them.

    Nothing ready-to-run that I'm aware of.  There was once a project to produce a kit-build Comeng which progressed as far as a demonstration unit being displayed at VHC in the City but it got no further.  As with most Australian stuff (and acknowledging the existence of Austrains / Auscision etc) if you want it you're going to have to scratch-build it.

    Trainbuilder are doing the  Harriscars - high quality brass.
    Check with the BufferStop re the resin cast Tait cars bodies.
