Farming lobby group AgForce says the construction of new passing loops for trains on the Toowoomba range on Queensland's Darling Downs will take more prime movers off the Warrego Highway.

The Queensland Government will spend up to $50 million to build the loops, which will allow up to 20 additional train paths per week for farmers to get crops off road and onto rail.
