BR BILL has (almost) got it with Lillydale, except there is one L too many. Here's how I saw it:
The Spanish have a bad day with M's predecessor and the Italian, and they all have to go back to the end of the line.
The Spanish = EL
Have a bad day = ADY
With M's predecessor = L (in the alphabet)
And the Italian = IL
And they all have to go back = read the above letters backwards
To the end of the line = confirming LILYDALE (but not Lillyale)
But close enough, so over to BR BILL.
