Heard a rumour today that 001 was on track in the Blackwater system, heading west from Rocklands. No confirmed sightings that I have heard of, as yet.
  Sulla1 Chief Commissioner

It went north from Brisbane yesterday with PN's 7141 being hauled by PN's 8342.

Any ideas where the wagons are being manufactured, and have they started to arrive in Central QLD?

Just thought I would post this for the benefit of anyone further north who may want a photo. At 12.15pm another two BMACC loco's behind a Pacific National locomotive went threw Strathpine. Didn't get any numbers.

Correct. I saw them being hauled through the Exhibition today. The loco hauling was 8341 and the BMACC's were 004 and 005.

Coming back from Lake Vermont towards Bluff a couple of days ago, saw a PN train in the disused Norwich Park loop. As we pulled through Norwich Park mainline, we realised it wasn't PN, but BMA. BMACC006 was the second remote. For all intents and purposes, its the same as a PN electric. Same 1/40 1/40 1/40 loco/wagon configuration. Same end of train marker, same wagon design, same locos except for the livery.

No pics, as of course, we are not allowed to operate personal electrical devices while the train is in motion.

The BMA test trains were running as a 124 wagon consists (1/42 1/42 1/40) same as Aurizons new Goonyella consists.

Are the BMA trains operating in both Goonyella and Blackwater systems now?
  Expost Deputy Commissioner

None in Blackwater system. No PN electrics run in the Blackwater system, so probably no BMA trains either.

The BMA trains were purchased for their mines in the Goonyella system.

Yes - From Daunia and Caval Ridge to Hay Point. At the moment BMA are running a single consist once a day from Saraji (a BMA mine) to Hay Point.

There is a rake of brand new BMA wagons sitting in the way in Blackwater yard. Been there for a couple of days so far. At a guess, around 50 to 60 wagons.

Do you mean that BMA will not be running trains? What will happen to the locos and wagons? Transfer to PN?
  gsxxxr_750 Junior Train Controller

BMA have currently 3 consists running in the Goonyella system and another 60 new wagons stowed at Caval Ridge.
Apparently BMA have placed their train operations on the market but not sure how true that is.
